Hi guys. Well im going to try a cider for the first time tomorrow. Have brewed a few beers now and fancied a change.

The wife bought me home a youngs cider (reading some reviews not sure if this is good or bad but got to start somewhere i suppose).

Now my question is after the initial fermantation is over i was going to transfer to my secondery add sugar then bottle from there as i find it easier that way i.e using a bottle wand thingy (the technical word for it obviously). Is this ok to do for a cider. Being my first cider i thought i might check.

Any help greatfully recieved.

Just using the secondary as a way to do batch priming?
Fine - should get more consistent results than sticking a tsp of sugar into each bottle does.
