Anyone ever re-use the screw top wine bottles for wine. I just made some nice elderberry and it's clear and dry at 099 and I've put it into screw top wine bottles. Was wondering if I should fill them to the brim and leave no air space.
It looks and tastes so good I'm tempted to look the corker out and make a right job of it. I have loads of screw top wine bottles though and maybe I'll need to start again collecting the real wine bottles for corks.
