Good Morning fellow brewers and other miscreants,

It's peeing it down so no garden work can be done.
It's a religious holiday so I can make any noise outside.

So I'll just have to go and throw a brew together, I received all ingredients yesterday and i've programmed BrewR on my Nexus 7.

The BH is making me a cuppa and I about to fill the pot.

atta boy !!

nice choice of brew as well

Its the main reason God " invented " rain....so we have an excuse ( if needed ) to brew....

All put to bed at 15:30 with a packet of Nottingham yeast.

35l went into the pot with 3933 grams of grains and I ended up with 21 litres at a tad under 1040.

I got to try out my newly cobbled together hop filter.

It works great but the hose doesn't like the high temps so I must source some better hosing.

Here's one I prepared earlier.

Cheers

I checked the gravity last night, it's down to 1010 already but there's still quite a bit of CO2 being produced.
It tastes pretty good as well.

I will leave it in the FV until the weekend and then I'll check it again and if it hasn't moved I'll put it in to the PB.
