Does anyone have a tried and tested cascade single hop APA style all grain recipe? I've got 100g cascade and was hoping to use this up sometime this week.

Cheers

OK, here we go.

Baz's Cascade Pale Ale
OG: 1.054
FG: 1.010
IBU: 36
SRM: 6.7

9.5 pounds of pale malt
.5 pound of Crystal 60 (medium)
1.5oz Cascade @60min
.5oz Cascade @15min
.5oz Cascade @10min
.5oz Cascade @5min
1oz Cascade @0min

Dry hop with 1oz Cascade (I throw it right in the corny in a muslin sack)

I mash for 90 minutes at 152F and boil for 60.

Let me know if I missed anything.

Doing a bit of mental gymnastics with the pounds and ounces...................it looks about perfect :thumb: For myself I'd move some of the 60 minute hops to later 'cos i like a bit less bitterness, though the IBUs aren't that high :wha:

One of my best brews was a Copper Dragon Golden Pippin clone. Simply:

4.2kg Marris Otter

90 minute mash at 65 degrees

75 minute boil

30g Cascade at 60 minutes

25g Cascade at 15 minutes

45g Cascade at flameout for one hour

Wyeast 1335 yeast

4.7%

31 IBU's

It was a lovely fresh, easy drinking pint. Lovely citrus flavor even without dry hopping :-)

Cheers guys. Some great feedback and recipes for me to take into consideration! Will look into this
