This was posted in a non home-brew forum i frequent by member Cardiff Blue, i haven't heard of it has anyone here tried it?

Was up in Blaenafon this morning through work and managed to pop into the Rhymney Ales brewery and treated myself to a selection of 3 of their bottled beers in readiness for tonights game.

I have tried their Rhymney Export before, but not had their Bevan Bitter, Dark, or Rhymney Bitter before.

Anybody tried any of these before?

.

They sell the Export in Lidl, I've probably tried it at some point but I guess it wasn't memorable.

I've had a couple of Rhymneys, from Morrisons I think. Not bad but but a bit ordinary if memory serves me correctly.

Good honest local brewery - Hobby Horse is nice if you can get it on draught. Never fails and would buy it bottled ahead of most "supermarket" beer that strangely all tastes very samey! Draught is different all round!
