Thats right, he loves the stuff, so much so that he's eaten his way through an entire 4.5kg brews worth that i'd thrown on the compost heap.
I'v spent the morning cleaning dog doo up of the carpet, drive, lawn
Maybe our beloved border collie was trying to lend a helping paw getting the whole composting thing of to a flying start. I think its time to invest in a composter with a lid !

My sisters dog is banned from them because he gets to excited over them (biscuits). Cows, pigs and horses will also happily eat spent grain.

Worms also like the spent grain, or it can be mixed directly into soil to improve it's water holding ability.

I'v made the dog treats, I mix the grain with egg and marmite or bovril and bake them, the're actually pretty bloody good with a beer :)

What's your recipe for your dog / human biscuits please Pawlo?

What's your recipe for your dog / human biscuits please Pawlo?

2 cups of grain
1 cup flour
1 egg
marmite or peanut butter to desired taste

roll out thin and cut to shape, put them in the oven for 30 min or until crispy
bake at about 180c

Bear in mind if using wheat or wheat flour to make dog treats a lot of dogs are gluten intolerant and will get all sorts of problems from dreadful poops to itchy skin.
