Hi all,

I have just been having a look on the Holland and Barrett site and have noticed they do malt on there in smaller quantities in jars.

Would anybody be able to tell me if we can use the same malt to make beer out of or is it a different kind of malt.

I was thinking about 6 tins of malt and a few hops with a bit of sugar and it would be fine.

Many thanks in advance

Hi mate

You certainly can. I did a clone of an Adam's southwold about a year ago using Holland Barret tins. Prob the best beer I made. But give it plenty of conditioning time.
Only did a 12litre batch so used a 7g pack of Cooper's yeast I had left over.

Good luck keep us posted
