Hi all,

I noticed this in my lhbs shop today and thought I might post it on here.

Muntons Light Malt Extract (Liquid) 25kg £99.00

Does anybody think this is a good price for all this malt, if so could I use this straight out of the package in 3ltr jugs the same a s a kit or would I have to boil this before I start mixing it.

Any help is much appreciated.

Its £62 at the malt miller (although out of stock at the mo):-

No, the one's I've seen just come in big plastic jerry cans. Which I've noticed some people use as no chill cubes once they've finished the malt off.
If someone's a extract brewer its deffo worth considering as it works out to be £2.80 a kg rather than about £10 for 1.5kg (I'm too **** at maths to work out what that is per kg :lol:)
