Cleaning tips for muslin?

I bought about a meter square sheet of muslin for use in mashing. Anyone give me any tips on cleaning it? It looks a little fragile, so I'm concerned about a washing machine pulling it too pieces, but drying it out and then picking all the little bits of barley husk off it is a little bit of a nuisance.

I just rinse mine in the sink and hang it on the line! Occasionally put it in the washing machine.

+1 for sink. I wash my hop bags in a little oxy, good couple of rinses and then hang to dry. Squeaky clean.
