Do all the little shops and garages selling propane have a set price or can it vary?
Just wondering if I should be shopping around or not. On the Calor website 13k is £28. I'm not certain but i'm sure I paid more than that last time.

As a comparison I did an exchange on a 5KG bottle for the BBQ a few weekends back at a local garden centre and it was around £25, so that sounds like good value to me.

Just went and asked in the local spar and it £29.99 for 13k so I think that's sounds ok? ill get it tomorrow unless some one knows of super deals out there!

£38.00 for 19kg (Countrywide Stores)
I get 13 brews out of that and also use it to boil water to sterilize my bottles.
So Id probably squeeze 15 brews out of 19kg

I used to have an adapter which screwed on to the propane bottle that then allowed me to fill the bottle at petrol stations that had LPG
it saved me a fortune on gas which we used for cooking / heating in a caravan. There was even a little chart on it with how much lpg could be dispensed in to what ever size bottle.
