Can you cook smaller amounts in yours? I need a new one as i left the lid on the induction hob and wouldn't work after that. Excellent for cooking beans.

Only tried twice so far. 10l water and then Did a zinging 5l pan of sweet potato, coconut, onion and garam masala soup with extra chillies!!

Instruction PDF says;

"Do not use the pressure cooker without liquid. It can be
damage seriously. () Always put at least one glass of water in
it."

The other warning is about pulses/rice/barley foaming and blocking the vents.

Many years ago We had an emergency trip to visit my Grandfather. Huge hole in kitchen roof and gas cooker squashed. Base of Pressure cooker pan with alloy lugs missing. Seems the daft old bu*r had been making ham broth with plenty barley and lentils. Burner on full and went to watch the telly. Luckily he had not been in the kitchen when it went up.

I am therefor very cautious about PC's
I will be using a muslin bag for hops (and pulses/peas )
