Hi,
Love learning new things and gathering from the country side, not to mention a glass of wine, so homebrewing is a natural progression.
Made my first elderflower champers 2 years ago, it didn't work  . Then, whilst living in London had a successful batch last year. This years is still in progress. Initially, did not ferment but think it was the lack of natural yeast in the area, like the first year, (South Wales). Added the yeast and all seems fine.
Anyway, last week tried my first kit, 6 bottle Wilko Chardonnay. Joined the forum for the collective knowledge.
