Another quick question.

I'm about to start brewing the muntons gold pilsner kit. I want to use finings to make the beer crystal clear. I've bought a Sachet from Wilkos.

Should I add this to the primary fv? Or should I siphon into another bucket and then add it before siphoning to the pressure barrel? Or can I add it to the pressure barrel with the priming sugar?

Any advice would be much appreciated!

you will probably get better results if you rack off the primary sediment into a fresh sterile fv first, just ensure the siphon tube reaches the bottom of the receiving FV so any absorbed co2 in the beer will be encouraged to escape with the agitation of siphoning so it forms a protective blanket on top of the beer, air/o2 coming into contact at that stage would not be desirable, so avoid it splashing in from a height.

bottle rather than keep in a pb tho you wont be able to condition to the level you would expect from a pilsner in a pb
