Hello all.

Thought I'd introduce myself, I'm James.
I live in East Cornwall with my partner and 2 young children.

Started a double batch of cider today.
Here's to hoping it goes well 👍😎

Not much in the way of primary fermentation going on at the moment.
I joined to gain knowledge and expertise from seasoned brewers and reap the rewards of the fine craft that is home brewing. 🙂

Welcome to the forum! :thumb:

Not having a moan or anything but as you're from good old England (and especially from the West Country!) then cider is cider and an alcoholic drink, doesn't need the "hard" prefix.

Just our American cousins to thank for that one as they confusingly call apple juice "cider" and to differentiate between that and the alcoholic version they have to call it "hard cider".

Anyway, good luck with your cider!

Ahh right I apologise, a habit picked up from the internet recipes.
I can't stand Americanisms so I'll be dropping that one pronto sir (y)
Thank you for the heads up.

Welcome James. Use us and abuse us for knowledge. I learnt so much from this and other forums and all the videos out there and still do. This is such a great hobby/profession and I wish I had started a long time before I did. The problem is when beer and beer recipes are going through your head all day long :)
