Hello everyone, My name is Andy....I am new here and would like to say hello, I have been reading this forum for a while and decided to register and join in.
I am fairly new to home brewing, years ago I made some very nice wine but have done no brewing for many years. I have been meaning to have a go at making cider for ages, this year I could not resist the heavily laden apple trees in my parents orchard, and I now have four gallons of cider bubbling away ! I have a few questions and would like some advice at some point ( I feel sure ) I have also made six litres of sloe gin and some damson gin. Loads of sloes on the trees this year.
I live on the Isle of Wight and can easily get hold of apples (sweet and cookers), plums, elderberries, sloes and damsons, so have plenty of scope for brewing tasty concoctions. Anyway, there is my introduction so happy home brewing.
Andy
