Just bottled a variant of this:
1.5 lt Lidl AJ
1lt Lidl RGj
1 bottle Lovich raspberry syrup
1 mug black tea
1 tsp each of pectolase, yeast nutrient, Youngs super yeast compound, glycerine
560g sugar
Make up to 4.5 lt with boiled, cooled water. OG 1100.
Fermented for 3 weeks, FG 999, calculated ABV 13%. Killed further fermentation with 1 Campden tablet. Bottled in 6 bottles.
Looks crystal clear and tastes really good. :thumb:

Camden only stuns yeast and does not stop fermentation. Potassium sorbate inhibits further reproduction of yeast.

Racked this one tonight over 5 crushed campdens. Forgot I didn't have stabiliser, so will be a trip to the lhbs for me tomorrow... doh

This one finished at 0.995 so still has loads of fruity flavour and a bit less rocket fuel like, than ones I've made before, coming in at around 10.75%

This one and the Strawberry variety (recipe on here somewhere too) are my current faves 😀

How did you rate this Roddy?? Looking for a few nice summer drinks to be brewing now to be well in stock :-). Well impressed with your strawberry and lime recipe as it was the first cider I ever brewed..

Not quite sure what to go for next..

Not as good as the Strawberry mate to be honest... bit syrupy tasting

Using the same darn Strawberry lowicz makes a fine dry rose... would recommend it 😀

Have just given this a go, only a 1 gal tester for now. Thanks for the recipe, will see how it turns out. :)

Also picked up a bottle each of the strawberry and cherry whilst I was in Lidl, so will set something similar off using those in the next couple of weeks.

Sweet, let me know how it turns out 😃
