Folks,

I'm aiming for Punk IPA - or at least as near to Punk IPA as I can get with the hops I have! I suppose what I want is a Punk IPA style of beer, so really fresh and hoppy with hopefully some of the flavours of Punk..... I have a fair selection of hops as shown below below but might would be prepared to purchase another 100g pack of something if there is a flavour profile missing.

Flaconers Flight 100g
Mosaic 100g
Nelson Sauvin 250g
Citra 250g
Ahtanun 70g
Crystal 35g

Am aiming for 5.6% and 40 IBU same as Punk.
Was thinking of buying Magnum hops, since they are cheap! And using them for bittering followed by Ahtanum, Citra, Falconers Flight @ 30min, then the same again at flame out but with Nelson Sauvin as well and the same for the dry hop

Scrap the 60min addition of Magnum and add all hops in last 15min and 5min....

How does this look?

I would dry hop with Citra and Crystal , Falconers is already a blend so should really be used on its own, dont get excited and start firing in all sorts of types or you could end up with then canceling each other or just making a muddy mess .

So up those 2 in the dry hop and drop the others, leave the 15 and 5 mins as they are?
I was thinking that falconers flight would be a good dry hop since it is a blend, was just adding the other hops to bring the volume up since I only have 100g of it, thought the hops might compliment the falconers

Do I need to add something at 60 mins as well? Just a small amount, say 1g of Citra?

i would of thought 100g would give a real hoppy brew dont forget you can add but not take out , i have just this minute dry hopped a new zealand pilsner with 25g of liberty.

I basically have the brewdog punk ipa recipe up and am aiming for the same(ish) total quantity of hops at the 15, 0 and dry hop stage

I downloaded a pdf of Brewdog's recipes from their website some time ago - as far as i know it's still available.

According to them, for a 20l brew, the hops they use are as below:

Yeah so I aint got them hops, going for as close as I can with what i have!

I know its not a clone but want something that folk who drink punk will also like

looking at the recipe bang in some citra crystal ahtanum and nelson its all trial and error on your first couple of brews , split the brew and experiment with the hops you have, i am sure you will get something decent to drink at the finish.

Simplified the hops a little....
