1) GOOD porters (Titanic Plum Porter is the best of the best IMHO)
2) Hoppy US IPAs
3) TBC (currently a toss up between Saison, wheat beer and pale ales like Ghost Ship)

You didn't ask for top 4, but if you had number 4 would be a good stout, eg. Guinness (can't stand Murphys).

Changes with the seasons for me:

Winter

1. Belgian Quadruples / Trappist e.g. Rochefort 10, Chimay
2. Porters
3. English Old Ales.

Summer

1. Hoppy IPAs
2. Golden / Pale Ales
3. Weissbier

And a whole load of other types in between. Mmmmm beer.

I'm a fan of standard English ale, generally darker brews, an IPA is good if not overdone on the hops. Otherwise, I'll have the occasional cider if it's very hot or might treat myself to something Belgian at Christmas. When I lived & worked in Scotland it was heavy all the way :)

1. American style IPA (ideally a sessionable one!)
2. Hefeweizen
3. Munich Dunkel

This would make an interesting poll!
