Hi folks,
I haven't done any brewing for a long time due to job and house moves, but I was planning one for next week but can't find any Amarillo hops in my regular online shops: Easy Homebrew, Copper Kettle or the Malt Miller.
Can anyone point me in the direction of a stockist? Thanks.

Pop down a local friendly brewery and see if they will let you have a few. Obviously go to a brewery that is likely to use them like Brodies.

I have picked some up from my local brewery before, along with a flask of yeast.

Not a bad idea - the Brains brewery is in town and I know that they use American hops. Do you think that breweries are OK with giving some of their stock away?

In the grand scheme of things, you're not going to need a lot. And if they have a bail open, they might appreciate shifting some for a few readies.

It's not the UK, but...

This store is run by an American guy from the German brewing forum. He's doing an order of Amarillo this December which he says should be there in January. He wants about 9 quid for 250grams. I'm not sure what the shipping would be, but I can't imagine it would be too bad. You can contact him in English since that's his mother tongue.

I bought some hops from him once a while back and they came in a nice vacuum sealed bag.

EDIT: It looks like it would be a little less than 8 quid for shipping for anything less than 2kg.
