I brewed the wilko newkie brown kit recently, slightly short with 1kg dextrose. Bog standard.
Was drinkable if not impressive at all after a month but pretty good after 2. I'm going to leave it as long as I can and should turn out decent for a sub 10 quid brew ( there was a sale on).
