Got a Steep of Maris otter and wheat on the go...A load of pale malt ready and a ton of Galena, amarillo and cascade hops....pray to the beer gods, I am going in.
 
Brew day went well...

Recipe was as such....

Steep 500 Pale Crystal Malt and 250g crushed wheat 60 mins at 65- 70 degrees c

1.5kg of LME extra light
1kg of light DME
250g of Wheat DME

30g Galena 60 mins
10g cascade 30 min
10g amarillo 30 mins
10g cascade 15 mins
10g amarillo 15 mins
20g amarillo flameout 15 minute steep
20g cascade flame out 15 minute steep.

Irish moss kettle finings
Safale S04 yeast.....

Planning to dry hop with amarillo and cascade after it has finished fermentation

Down to Gravity in Seven days and tasting good! A 5 day dry hop of more amarillo and Cascade now...excited about this one...

Looks good. I've never tried Galena, but the rest is familiar (and some of the very best). :drink:
 
The Galena was a donation from my Local Micro brewery. The Fownes Brewing Company. Top lads. It's a really clean bittering hop. Second brew I have done with it.
 
Also it is worth noting I only do a 12l boil and top up to 23litres. Hop weights are adjusted in Brewers friend accordingly. :-)

Bottled tonight. 2 x 5 litre Easy Kegs and 16 x 500ml bottles. Bin sample tasted great!
