guys i bought 2 kilo of pears and want to make a pear wine ( WOW ) type.

can i blitz the pears in a juicer ( the ones that separate the pulp from the juice ) and add this pear juice to my other ingredients ?

or is it best to mash the pears for a few days in a fermenting bin in water ?

To be honest I have never used a juicer, and all of my books and mentors predate juicers by several decades!
But I personally cannot see a problem in trying it.
My only thoughts are that some things like Tannins may need the extra time to be extracted from the fruit, which may affect the end products taste.
That might even be a good thing!
I say definately try it, I am sure that it will give you acceptable results.
