Going for an EverySecond today with the lovely yeast I got from the brewery yesterday. The Swannay Brewery http://www.highlandbrewingcompany.co.uk/

Wonder if the yeast that makes the 2010 Champion Beer of Scotland will improve my brew

Going for my 'house' brew so we can judge the difference. One advantage of brewing the same brew every second brew is the ability to change one ingredient and assess the difference.

Ok, 23 brew length
2.7kg pale malt
0.3kg crystal malt
106min mash with 9 litre water at 65degC

wish me luck

Best of luck Neil :thumb:
I'm aiming to get my perfect pint of Bitter, so like you I keep subtley making changes.
