I'm still waiting for an inheritance to come through that should have been sorted ages ago and when I do am planning on an upgrade. I will do some 23l brews but would also like to do some smaller ones of 10l and possibly even 5l for experimental recipies. What is the minimum you can do with the machines on the market?

You can buy small pipework for the grainfather to do 10L batches. Not sure about 5L, or the ACE.

I do 10 litre batches in mine, not needed the additional pipework. Works well for a full-volume mash at that quantity.
