I brew both of the Coopers Stouts and they go into the PB. When the PB is pressurised the beer is dispensed with a creamy head similar to that served in the pub. For that reason I would never put these stouts into bottles.

Sorry it was a bit early when I wrote that. Maybe this make more sense.

I get a head on mine, which is bottled. However it tends to be an off white colour. I find it's pretty good if the bottles are 3 months+ old.
I have some six months old, and some 4 and 5 months old. Ready for our winter.
To get a white head like in the pubs is when you need nitrogen. This is according to the Coopers bloke (PB2) on their forum. https://club.coopers.com.au/coopers-forum/topic/9957/

Also for some reason a few people say to carb this less when bottling. I've found that 7-8 grams per litre is great. The one I put 5 grams per litre in had no head whatsoever.

Gerryjo, usually add Carapils and Choc Malt to my stouts.

I brewed my first stout and used wheat and flaked barley and has been the best head I've ever had on any I've brewed before.Shall definitely use again in my next Brew.
