Just about to start a Coopers European Lager.
They recommend using 1kg of Brew Enhancer or 500g of Light
Dry Malt plus 250g of sugar.
I don't have any Brew Enhancer but I have 1kg of Light Malt
Extract
Question is what will be the effect of using 1kg only of LME ??

Well I would have thought that would be preferable to either of their suggestions.

Yea I thought the very same thing and it turned out more like a beer than a lager not really what i was looking for but drinkable all the same....

I have read however when doing a lager kit you are supposed to ferment at a lower temp than normal is this correct and do you have to change the kit yeast ?
