I'm about to do a coopers euro lager kit and was wondering if the yeast supplied is any good? Or if someone can recommend a good lager yeast to use I'm going to try and ferment around 10- 13c in my fridge

I've never had any issues with Coopers products.

If you have a fridge and the kit yeast, I would suggest doing it and see what might be improved at the end of the process.

It will not dissapoint, on the basis of my limited experience.

Ive currently just bottled a coopers european lager. Was at 20° for 8 days before bottling. Tried a sample after 3 days. Flat but so moreish.
Do not open this beer!. I promise you wont be able to put it down.
What with it being a friday i stuck 4 in the fridge. And the trouble and strife was pulling me away from the (beer) cupboard after my 9th.
Prob for the best ive got a 100 mile trip to london at 7.30....

I would recommend the Safale range of yeasts. S04 is my workhorse and always gives good results. I have also used US05 for a pseudo lager as I needed a yeast that could ferment at 20c. Worked a treat.

I've done loads if euro coopers kits and yeast is lager yeast better at 12 c
