Late Hopping

I've just read a very interesting article on late hopping. It seems to fly in the face of conventional wisdom about hop schedules.

Just wondering if anybody has any experience trying this?

By all means, give it a go! For my APAs and AIPAs, the vast majority of my hop additions are in the last 15 min of the boil.

I haven't done an IPA or AIPA yet.

I did my 10th A.G. brew this weekend! I quite fancy a go at an IPA so may use the late hop method there. Now, I just need a good recipe. :wha:

I have done a fair bit of late hopping, but looking at the quantities there perhaps I should increase the the late hops more, and drop out the early hops.

I got 500g of Bobek in the post this morning :idea: , if only I had an empty fermenter.

Yes, tried the late hopping.
Ended up preferring Styrian Golding for the flavour and aroma.
Only thing was I did it a bit too much and got board with the sharp taste. Now I'm preferring soft mellow oatmeal stout. :wha:
