Yeah the majority of the Heineken owned beers will be sorely missed:whistle:

That's the first time I've seen Stone beers in a Supermarket...interesting development.

With the supermarkets getting bigger and bigger with the craft beer range, that will hit the small shops that sell it, also they will be cheaper as well, it's good for the consumers but that's more small businesses closing, small towns are becoming extinct with shops, rant over lol

To be fair, the only shops I've seen which sell Stone beers are specialist bottle shops...one in York and one in Ashton-under-Lyne...in most places that I've been, Tesco selling it shouldn't affect the smaller businesses because it's rarely sold in shops anyway.

As a side note, I also love Stone's Cali-Belgique IPA...the difference that the yeast makes to the beer is extraordinary

Hey pope are you local to Ashton? I presume you mean browton's on the market, lovely little place. I live over Glossop way and usually drink in Harvey Leonard's. They sell stone cans aswell as some other great beers. I tell the missus its research when I go for a few after work and then bring a few home with me.

Yeah, the tesco down the road has this new stock. Just picked up a few, and drinking the Guiness Antwerpen stout while the cans of IPA chill. Very nice it is too.

I went in the other night, 3 x 660ml bottles of Punk IPA for £5 I think they must have messed up so I took advantage 😁

Hi Stigman, I'm from Droylsden originally but moved to Huddersfield in 2014. All of my friends still live in Tameside/Greater Manchester so I go back over the hills frequently.

Yeah, I was referring to Browton's bottle shop, a great business which I hope continues to thrive. I've never drank in Glossop...I'm not sure how to get there without driving...I just googled that Harvey Leonards and it looks right up my street.
