I've started buying in my pale malt in 25kg sacks to save money, but now I need to find a way of storing it so that it's water tight and rodent resitant. I was thinking of a metal bin with lid, but after checking B&Q yesterday I discovered they were selling them at £27!! What do you all store your grains in?

My dad keeps birdfood in an old FV in the garage never had a problem and they do get rats from time to time.

I use these I also use them for my FV, boiler and Mash tun! They are very versatile!

A 25kg sack fills two of these though so...may not be what you ar looking for?

It's not a bad idea at all actually. I'd rather keep it together in the sack, but that's really not a bad alternative.

Edit: That was to Cononthebarber. Those metal wardrobes look pretty good for storing beers in the dark though.
