had a look about at what i had kicking about and messed about with q brew and came up with the following.

Brewer:
Style: Imperial Stout
Batch: 22.50 LAll Grain

Characteristics
---------------
Recipe Gravity: 1.076 OG
Recipe Bitterness: 80 IBU
Recipe Color: 33° SRM
Estimated FG: 1.019
Alcohol by Volume: 7.3%
Alcohol by Weight: 5.8%

Ingredients
-----------
British brown 1.00 kg, Grain, Mashed
British chocolate malt 0.50 kg, Grain, Mashed
Maris Otter Malt 5.50 kg, Grain, Mashed
Rye malt 0.50 kg, Grain, Mashed

Columbus 25.00 g, Whole, 15 minutes
Columbus 30.00 g, Whole, 90 minutes
Fuggles 25.00 g, Whole, 15 minutes


any thoughts or suggestions?
 
Seems like an awful lot of brown malt, I would go for a quarter of that usually. Also, maybe half the amount of chocolate.

Any reason there is no crystal nor roast barley?
 
was going to say same and half the brown malt, but quartering it sounds better and doing the same amount of chocolate to brown would help the balance or else it will drown in overly malty flavours
