Guinness extra stout measure exact 1.011 (where estimated final)
So as always few days of reading the ready the prime/ carb up! But might wait another week! No harm in the primary FV.
Don't know when I'll get to brew the Berliner wiess..due to family illness in our lasses side..so going to be more hundreds of mile drive...
I'll sort it out!! Lol
Bri
Bri you could still bottle the Wiess, you could treat the the corny as a secondary fermenter then you know just prime and bottle

today is Berlinner Wiess 10L
i'll put the recipe up and as usual experimented with changes.
first time doing a 15 min boil.
not the sour method, but the 15 min boil.
no chill.
and ill do a starter with the Berliner Weiss blend and yeast nutrients.
in 5 mins I check the mash pH.
got the water treatment spot on.

Well a quick brewday!
Didn't know what to do with myself after that lol..seemed strange!
Hit the targets nearly (est 1.045-1.011) ended at 1.045 & final be 1.010)
Pitch the starter lata on, in the brewbucket.
Wouldn't say I'm not too overly exited in this one..after months hummin n harring wether to do it!
And looking back! Don't know the style would be to my liking!
But it's another tick in the box so to speak! And learning about it.
This 15 min boil..needs to get used to lol
Think I didn't do the sour method (with while Grain and wait for a few days, pH target etc) and that was I wanted to do originally! But this method gets me up n running!
I'll try the full sour method in the future..
Got my daughter ova for a few days so no brewing for a while!
Just playing with recipes...
Thx for viewing
Bri
