Bought a 20 Plate Heat Exchanger (Plate chiller)

I've just got one of these from Germany / eBay, I'm hoping my little Solar pump is going to be up to the job of pumping wort through it and possibly try creating a whirlpool in the copper, though I'm not sure its going to have enough oomph!
I've got some various Stainless fittings on order to bolt onto this and a Stainless ballvalve for controlling flow after the pump.

If you want to whirlpool properly you will need more umph than a solar pump.

The first one would make a decent underback pump with a level control system in the underback.

the little solar pump worked a treat with my 50 plate chiller last weekend ade. I had it down at 7V as well to control the flow. Mine is the 12W version though so I don't know if that's gonna make much difference!

A solar pump is great for recirc, but won't have the power to "whirlpool" a decent amount of wort well.

Just meant it would have no probe with 20 plates!

I'll maybe just leave it to recirc into the copper, see how it does. hopefully the rest of my ordered fittings should arrive soon, just hope I have enough Silicone hose.
