I will be getting the mash on in a bit, and taking Greys advice about the oats from this thread.

Any feedback would be welcome.

The mash is going, all in the tun at some where in the 66-64 degree range.

Just some quick washing up and then bed for me!

HEHEHE

Sparge water is nearly up to temp, and the mash tun is draining. I do like an overnight mash.

Hops ready to go in

I am running my sparge water out of the tun now.
First runnings are heating on the hob with my first wort hops in.
Just uploading some photos...

No messing about for you is there , i'm usually just starting now with 6 to 8 hrs ahead . Pictures too :thumb:

Got a good start! The messing around started when my mashtun fell off the new stool I was standing it on!
It looks fine and I didn't lose too much wort/grain and didn't make much mess.
Just don't tell anyone.......

Yea, its a good job the floor wasn't mopped very recently....

So this is the offending article, I think this is a better set up. nothing can go wrong...

And here is my full boiler, at 85 degrees. Again what can go wrong....

Great looking recipe hope you enjoy the oats, they definately add something to a pale ale. :thumb:

Cheers Grey

I hope it will be a good one!

Here are the 20minute hops

And a quick snack before the last lot of hops go in.

A full pot! was a little worried I wouldn't get the chiller in

Just turned it off, and on with the chiller.

The chiller is leaking a little.... Something to mop the floor with!
