Someone 8 miles from me is selling this lot and said I can have it for £35. It's basically duplicating everything I already have but I do need some more bottles so they would cost me circa £20. Here's the list

Kit includes:
30 litre fermentation bin with lid,
47 500ml PET bottles with caps,
Spare bottle caps,
Mixing spoon,
Hydrometer,
Hydrometer trial jar,
Thermometer,
Telescopic syphon,
Tap to fit syphon tube,
2 airlocks with bungs,
Funnel,
Peco electrim TE75 immersion heater that is adjustable from 14-34°c,

Also includes a 20 pint real ale beer kit with yeast sachet.

What do you think?

Its a pretty extensive list but nothing of any particularly high value.

Would he accept an offer do you think? He might be keen/under pressure from swmbo to get shot of it.

Nothing for the airlocks to go into? Sounds fair close to retail price for second hand gear. Suppose it would save waiting for delivery if you wanted to double your output, without a LHBS, but there's not much else in it.

I think your £30 offer was fair, if you just want the bottles then put an offer in for the bottles and maybe the FV, you probably already have the rest and dont need spares.

I think it's worth around £13 plus the heater and plus the beer kit , 2nd hand beer kit i would pay around £5 to 10 and what ever the heaters worth .
