Location
Ulverston Cumbria.
I have noticed differing results when using - http://www.speedtest.net

If i choose a server close to me i get -

Preston

If i choose ones further away i get -

Manchester

Coventry

Other speed-tests give my download at 13:00 Mb/s but the ping varies a bit, can anyone explain why i am seeing this?

Preston is the closest server to me and i get 92ms to Preston and 15ms to Coventry. :???:
 
the coventry one is based at warwick uni and that has a very good internet service super high speed etc etc i suppose that could make the difference
