Well I've had fun!

After messing around with the regulator, wondering why every time I turned on the co2 bottle gas was coming out in the "wrong" places, I realised it needed to be tighter than just hand tight so off to by dads I went to get a adjustable pliers. That solved that problem.

Now, I knew the brown knob in the middle of the regulator controlled the flow of gas and to my mind you turn things off/turning them down by turning knobs to the right, not so on this fecking thing. All I can say I'm glad there is a prv on it. I nearly painted the walls with Videne.

Once I realised my error and got things under control, I realised just how pigging easy it all was and what a prized plonker I'd been  . After filling my corny with my Effin Lancashire Blonde (and getting far too much air in during the transfer) I manage to purge the air and force carbonate without further "complications".

Still it's a learning curve, and next time it won't take me hours to do it.

Just thought I'd let you all know what a numpty I am  :thumb:
