After Wez’s call for pics, I thought I’d better knuckle down and produce some from my other 2 bines.
They were only planted last year so this is their first proper growing year.
You will notice from the size of my “Oast” that I have great expectations (wishful thinking) for the years to come.

The bines in their normal growing positions. I will be adding horizontal extensions to the top to keep the bines further apart.

I don’t think anyone need be afraid that I’ll cornering the Hop market.

just love the ingenuity of forum members, William Heath Robinson would be imrpessed with some of the things we come up with :idea:
