After lots of advice from people on here I finally started using liquid yeasts after learning how to grow / split / store / create starters / pitch..

Was lots of information gained so thanks for everyone who helped out :thumb:

I sampled the difference last night as I had made 2 beers to the same recipe last week, pitched S-04 in one and WLP 007 in the other. Checked FGs last night and tried the samples all I can say is WOW!!!! Now I can't wait for these to mature a bit. Already the 007 has produced a far more rounded beer that also seems to have a much better mouthfeel ( which I wasn't expecting). Now will be looking at different strains and seeing what they can bring to other beer styles :geek:

This is a field in brewing that I (for one) would love know more about....the types of yeasts that we have at our fingertips to use....how they differ in taste... :thumb:
