Hi

After giving up homebrew in the late 70's (or around then) I have returned to the fold, went into Stockport to the local HB shop (very nice and helpful)

Purchased a fermenter, heater, keg etc. and a Muntons IPA kit

Steralised the fermenter, and equipment, heated the cans of extract, poured into the fermented washed the cans with boiling water and filled the fermenter to 25L, screwed on the lid and dropped (not literally) in the heater and added an airlock. Waited a couple of hours for the wort (?) to warm slightly and pitched the yeast.

The extract when opened smelled great.

Arrrgh can't wait :drink:
