Hi all; Can someone please educate me in the world of cornie kegs. I know absolutely nothing apart from they used for dispensing beer and will eliminate all the messing around of bottling my home brew.

Are there many different types and sizes available?
Are there different grades to them?
Are there different makes?
And who manufactures them?
:wha:

Yes

Main types are Pin Lock - Used by Coca Cola and Ball Lock Used by everyone else. refer to the type of disconnects required. You also have Grundy types which have a beer keg type of disconnect.

Size wise 9L 18.9L ( 2.5 and 5 US Gallon) are the common sizes . . . they are available in 38L (10 US Gallon) . . . and I have seen 300L Sizes . . . Rocking horse sh!t is easier to obtain than these though
