Problem with giving these people air time (instead of just locking them up and throwing away the key) is that they get "famous" due to their crimes!

Remember the woman who claimed millions of pounds on a forged Lottery ticket?

They actually did a TV programme about her where she claims that she is now a "celebrity" who is pursuing a modelling career on the back of her notoriety.

You couldn't make up the brass-neck of these people!

Another day another own goal, with all the bad publicity surrounding this council wouldn't you have thought they would have looked at every angle to make sure nothing new (like this) came to light.

Grenfell fire: Survivor's 'rent deducted'

A woman whose home was destroyed in the fire is still having rent deducted by the council, according to Grenfell campaigner, Yvette Williams.

In response, Kensington and Chelsea Conservative councillor Catherine Faulks told BBC Radio 4's Today programme that it was not a "tiny thing" and each family had been allocated a social worker for support.

She went on to say the media had not sufficiently covered the council's achievements.
