i brewed some ginger beer and primed the bottles with half a teaspoon of caster sugar.. I've had the bottles in the kitchen for a week now... Last night I couldn't resist a sample.. :D Lovely stuff... Just bugger all fizz  It does get cold in there at night.. Could this be the reason for the lack of fizz? I have moved them into the spare room where I do my fermenting, where it's warmer... any thoughts?

cheers..

sound ok usually for lagers 1 teaspoon per pint for ales half a teaspoon per pint but it can vary. I think those type of kits get better with age. Wait a week or so then try tasting again
