id like a filter system but i think the harris refills are really expensive £8 for 6 and they're 1 use only.

is there any other cheaper filter kits?
 
I've seen the online prices for filter pads and also the shelf price in Wilkinson's - someone's having a laugh!

My LHBS just happens to be Harris Homebrew and their shelf price is £4.20, so what is their wholesale price?

Give them a ring on 01384 253073 and ask what their postage is on one lightweight item.
