Where does Mark say in his post that he couldn't dream of improving his beers?
All he stated was that he hasn't had a **** brew in 3 years and that he hasn't had to stir the wort to acieve it!!!
That's not correct now is it? He stated that wort did not need to be aerated

Glad you took that post in the spirit it was intend

Wort doesn't "need" to be aerated though does it, you can still get exellent results without it!
In doing so you may get better results but to prove that you would need to aerate half of the same brew and not the other!

What other way could your post have been taken other than a sarcastic attack. :nono:

just used the plastic hanger/stirrer. dont know if it will make a difference but it doesnt half do the job .great idea
thanks

wort gets plenty of oxygenation just being put into the fermenter no need for fancy stirring devices.

As a forum moderator with almost 3500 posts to your name you should maybe think a little harder about what you're posting.
Yes your beer will ferment and yes it may taste fine, but what you're saying isn't best practice and it won't give you the best results possible.

However a less experienced brewer reading your post may think "Forum moderator, 3500 posts. He must know what he's talking about" and skip an important step in the process.

I've no problem with you telling us your techniques but maybe you could be less dismissive of the better way to do things.
