I've just been looking through the 'homebrew' posts in ebay and lamenting those days when you could pick up a bargain in there - the days before every Tom, Dick and Harry could buy some **** and charge 5 x the going rate just because others don't shop around.

I figured that I'm going to weed out these unscrupulous vendors (not a difficult job as 90% come into that category) and email them links to the same items for sale (considerably cheaper) in the forum sponsors above!

OK... some may say I have too much time on my hands ... not entirely true, but the missus has taken the kids out and left me with a window which is too small to fill with a brew! Unsporting, what?

Aiming to do nothing more than fill an hour and p*ss them off!

Then I thought... what if we all do it ... it'll be a movement! Which, faithful reader... is where I got the title of this post from. Arlo Guthrie: Alice's Restaurant. If you've never heard it - go get it!!!

And....
And the only reason I'm
singing you this song now is cause you may know somebody in a similar
situation, or you may be in a similar situation, and if your in a
situation like that there's only one thing you can do and that's walk into
the shrink wherever you are ,just walk in say "Shrink, You can get
anything you want, at Alice's restaurant.". And walk out. You know, if
one person, just one person does it they may think he's really sick and
they won't take him. And if two people, two people do it, in harmony,
they may think they're both faggots and they won't take either of them.
And three people do it, three, can you imagine, three people walking in
singin a bar of Alice's Restaurant and walking out. They may think it's an
organization. And can you, can you imagine fifty people a day,I said
fifty people a day walking in singin a bar of Alice's Restaurant and
walking out. And friends they may thinks it's a movement.

Ha .. let this be a lesson to you all

The window was too small to be filled with beer-making, but not beer drinking. Found a few of my 7.2% IPA at the back of the cupboard and drank them along with 2 bottles of T.E.A and the new Duchy organic ruby.

*cough*

Haven't had any replies from ebay though
