Quick question to do a half batch should I half everything ?

My colleague has took a stab at it and including the sugar in his juice there's 2.6kg

His SG is 1.052 [emoji848] guessing fermenting down to .998 giving 7.2% am I right ?
 
yes to halving but you'll have half a litre of apple and rgj left to drink, or play with the numbers so 4L apple and 2L RGJ?

should really be WGJ for Prosecco but thats just splitting hairs.

and I make 54 points drop gives about 7.3%, I divide by 7.362
 
sounds a bit weak, I would aim for 10% next time and would try to get wgj next time too, you got a Waitrose nearby ?
 
Dropped another 1kg of sugar in it so should be closer to ten percent hopefully [emoji23] if he does good by it I'll give it ago myself too
 
mine hasn't carbed up enough although it tastes very nice indeed, came out at 11% i have ended up going to corny keg to carb, atb and thanks for all your help wayne
 
Still have 20 or so bottles left (probably because it's so fecking strong...

But here it is 2 months after bottling, nice and clear

And not overly fizzy although bottles very firm !!
