What is this component?

Wondering if any of you good people can tell me what component this is and what its value is? I had to take apart the working one so i could photo the part as the other one had fried. I thought its a capacitor but am very rusty and don't really understand the value. However a friend told me its a resistor/thermistor . Its labelled RT1 on the board. A link for one from Maplins would be ideal or its no music for me over Xmas.

It is what your friend told you. If my memory serves me correctly, it is a 10 ohm one.

Success. ÃÂ£2 for 2 replacement parts and its working again. Most chuffed as these are discontinued.

I had to order the part i needed in a pair but i also changed a capacitor which was the fault on my other speaker. The thermistor was so blown it just pulled off the board. No need for a solder gun there. Thanks for your help mate, its really satisfying when you repair something for peanuts. Cheers :)
