Lads help me here

From brew bucket I just syohon out using tubing

But it's a ball ache and messy

So I've got a spare vessel now , also a brew with another week left , can I tip the lot into secondary via a big funnel?

Or do I need to be more gentle

Cheers all !

If fermentation is finished you need to be gentle, don't introduce oxygen to finished beer it will oxidise an ruin it. Can you put a pic up? Usually you can drain out of the tap with tubing into secondary or keg etc

Your FV doesn't have a tap, right? Fit one before brewing in it again! Then it's just a case of putting the FV on a high surface, attaching wide-bore tubing to the tap and letting it flow into the secondary with the tube outlet constantly submerged. It may be as well to endure the messy ball ache scenario one more time. Only other way I can think of is to tip the lot into a very wide funnel with a tube attached so,as above the outlet remains submerged in the ale being collected. Now that really would be sloppy and messy and definitely a two-man job.
