I have brewed the punk ipa and its coming up to 2 weeks in primary, normally if i'm dry hopping then I transfer to a secondary vessel first and then dry hop.
I like to do a crash cool after the dry hop period so all the hop mush settles out but I only have the keg fridge.
Now, the fridge can hold 2 kegs, or one fermentor so it makes sense to use a keg for the secondary so that i can crash cool and still have cold beer on tap.

I will of course un screw the safety valve.

Is there any reason why I shouldn't do this ? also apart from solving the fridge space dilemma are there any other up sides ?

Cheers all
